Ashley and Abbey and their SpongeBob Cake mommy made for their family birthday party.
Our family on the girls 5th birthday.

At the MN Science Museum. Not sure if Ashley can hear okay...look how she is holding the phone.
They wanted a "pin the tail on the mermaid" for their friends birthday party, I tried to draw it and here was the results. Thankfully 5 year olds are not picky.
The friends party had a beach/mermaid theme. I made cupcakes that looked like beach balls.
Morning of the party with their friends.

For the month of June, we were busy celebrating graduation from preschool as well as their birthday. It was fun. We had two parties for the girls. They wanted a beach party/mermaid party for the friend party. We had 11 kids here and it was a lot of fun. We ate cupcakes that I decorated like beach balls, pin the tail on the mermaid, had a water balloon fight, played with the water sprinkler (which looks like a huge beach ball) and then had a pinata. It was fun for the girls to be with their Rainbow Friends. They sure miss them.
We had another party for family on June 27. They wanted a SpongeBob cake, which I made, and it turned out great. The girls loved it and it was the easiest cake to make. They had fun with their family there. Everyone was very generous with their gifts and they really appreciated them all.
Thanks to Aunt Tania, the girls have a library card in MN which has enabled us to get free passes to various museums and zoo's. We took advantage of getting free passes into the MN Zoo and had a great time. The girls really love going to the zoo.
We also purchased a family season pass to the MN Science Museum and visited that as well. The girls really got into the body parts as well as going on the deck and playing in the tug boat. It has been a lot of fun. Shannon has had to use a lot of vacation this summer and that has been great for all of us.
